Run it left, read it right

Keep a terminal and a document side by side in one tab. Run a command while keeping its instructions in view.

Keep them together

Switch tabs to change the whole layout. With the terminal focused, search and the status bar refer to that terminal.

Give your agent a task. Keep working on yours.

In Tasty, an AI agent can open terminals, run commands, and read the results itself. Let it run the tests while you review code in another tab.

  • 01Stay with your own workAn agent can open tabs and run commands without changing your focus, selected text, or scroll position.
  • 02Choose the right terminalEach terminal has its own ID. Agents address the terminal they need directly, regardless of which tab you have open.
  • 03Control terminals from the CLIThe tasty CLI lets agents create splits, run commands, and read output. They can set up the terminals they need for a task.
  • 04Run on servers, tooHeadless mode runs without a window. Use the same CLI to create terminals and run tasks on a server or in CI.
Features

Your everyday development tools, together

Organize terminals by project, read docs beside your code, and automate routine tasks. Keep the tools you and your agents need in the same workspace.

GPU renderingTasty uses the GPU to draw your terminal. Open several terminals side by side to follow different parts of your work.→A workspace for each projectKeep projects in separate workspaces. Save a layout as a preset and bring it back when you need it.→Docs and images beside your codeOpen a file explorer, Markdown documents, images, and web pages alongside your terminals. In the explorer, copy, move, rename, or trash files, undo changes, and copy, paste, or drag files to and from other apps.→Connect Claude and CodexGive different tasks to several agents. Once configured, the integration notifies you when work finishes or an agent needs input.→Put tasks in orderConnect tasks to the work they depend on, and Tasty runs them in that order. Follow progress in a graph.→Terminals agents can operateAgents can create splits, run commands, and read output through the CLI, without you setting up each tab for them.→Read the output you needShell integration identifies the output of each command. Check a result without searching through the entire terminal history.→Know when to check backSet notifications for a command finishing or a message appearing in its output. You can move on instead of watching the terminal.→Automate routine workConnect Lua scripts to shortcuts or window and tab events. Automate repeated actions to suit the way you work.→Bring remote work to your screenConnect over SSH to Tasty on another computer. View and operate the workspace running there from your own machine.→Add tools with pluginsUse plugins for Markdown, images, Git views, and more. Check their permissions and choose the tools you want to enable.→Make it feel like yoursChoose Mocha or Latte, or write your own theme in a TOML file.→

Working with multiple agents

Split the work between your agents

Connect Claude Code and Codex CLI to let several agents work on different tasks. Once configured, Tasty lets you know when they finish or need an answer, so you spend less time checking tabs.

An agent can also delegate work to other agents and receive their completion notifications.

Platforms

Use the same environment on every OS

Consistent behaviour across Windows, macOS, and Linux is a core principle of the Tasty user experience. Use your terminals and work with AI agents the same way, even when you switch operating systems.
